Log in with the credentials you created in the Solia Dashboard.
3) First login (important)
On first login, you might be asked to change your password. This is normal.
If you are the Admin (device owner)
Log in with the same email + password you created during activation.
If Immich asks you to change your password, you can:
set a new password, or
enter the same password again if you want to keep it.
If you were invited by a family member (privacy guarantee)
If the Admin created an account for you, the password they give you is temporary.
When you log in for the first time, Immich will ask you to set your own password. After you set it:
the Admin will not know it anymore ✅
the Admin cannot log in as you and cannot view your photo library ✅
If you ever need to reset your password, the reset is protected by email verification (OTP) sent to your email address. That means the Admin can’t “take over” your account just by changing the password.
🔐 Important: anyone who knows your Immich login can view your photos and videos. Choose a strong password (uppercase + special characters recommended).

4) Enable backup
Grant photo library permissions when asked.
Tap the Cloud icon (top right).
Select albums (or your entire library).
Enable Backup.
⏳ First backup can take time
If you have a large camera roll, the first upload may take hours (or longer) depending on internet speed. That’s normal.
Recommended settings (to avoid missed backups)
iPhone (iOS): allow background activity and avoid “Low Power Mode” during the first big upload.
Android: disable battery optimization for Immich so it can upload in the background.
💡 Best practice: leave your phone on Wi‑Fi + charging overnight for the first backup.
