Factory Reset

Factory reset is a destructive action. It removes users and resets your device back to a fresh state.

Warning: This cannot be undone.

Where to find it

1. Open the dashboard.

2. Click your profile icon (top right).

3. Go to Extras.

4. Choose Reset TimeCapsule.

Before you continue

• Every user and all stored photos/videos on this TimeCapsule will be deleted.

• Your device will return to a fresh state and you will need to activate it again afterwards.

Safety confirmations

To prevent accidental resets, the flow will:

• Show warnings

• Ask you to type your current password

• Ask you to type the word RESET to confirm
