TimeCapsule updates keep your device secure and improve stability.

Updates may include security improvements, performance enhancements, and bug fixes.

Over time, updates will also unlock new features. You can see what we’re working on here: ✨ Features (Coming via Updates).

Check for updates

1. Open the Solia Dashboard.

2. Click Check updates.

3. If an update is available, you will see your current version and the new version.

Install updates (important)

When you start an update:

• The dashboard will be locked until the update finishes

• The TimeCapsule may reboot automatically

• Do not unplug or power off the device during the update

⚠️ Important: unplugging during an update can corrupt the install.

Progress and completion

During an update, you can see progress (download/install/reboot). When it finishes, the dashboard should unlock automatically.

How long does an update take?

• Small updates: a few minutes

• Large updates: longer (especially on slower internet)
